Are your requirements boring? Do you feel no one ever reads the words you write? It might be time to…. GET VISUAL!

Come learn about various visual BA techniques that can help better express your requirements and create more of those “AHA I understand!” moments with your stakeholders.  We will use real life examples from our experiences as practitioners in this interactive session to help demonstrate our favorite 8 visual techniques, such as Mind Mapping & Business Process Modeling. This session will also provide trade-offs and tools for each technique and discuss tying visual techniques to textual requirements in the requirements package.

Objectives:

  1. Learn how to better incorporate visual techniques into your requirements
  2. Learn when to use each technique to best express your requirements
  3. Learn about tools that could help with the creation of these visuals
