You are a Business Analyst working on an Agile team.  You have transitioned from incremental delivery to Agile in recent years.  You are generally satisfied with the changeover but there are still challenges plaguing you.  Some of them are age-old issues like time and resource constraints.  Others stem from the Agile way of working like adopting role-sharing and establishing a cadence for story closure.  For instance, does your team consistently miss commitment?  Are the stories always more work than estimated?  Are some team members not pulling their weight?

This presentation will help you beat the post-Agile blues by recommending strategies for meeting day-to-day Business Analysis challenges in the Agile environment.  It’s not a matter of trading one set of problems for another.  It’s a matter of applying an ounce of prevention in the context of becoming value-driven.

Objectives:

  • Learn about typical problems faced when Business Analysts move to Agile
  • Understand how these problems impact your productivity and your team’s results
  • Apply solutions to meet the challenges of working in an Agile environment
