The Business Analysis profession is evolving. New multi-role situations have become common in many companies. The technology is changing. 

The need for the business to understand security, mobility, and to understand cloud based alternatives challenges are changing how we understand and create requirements. The specialty areas of Business Intelligence and Big Data also impact careers. All this means the way we manage our careers, the skills we need to succeed are changing. Business leaders now often look to the business analyst as someone who assists them create innovation, and who helps them be better project sponsors. The relationship management aspect is changing. At the senior levels of the profession, the BA is often working across the enterprise on helping make portfolio and investment decisions for the business by providing guidance and analysis. The scope of the BA is changing from entry level, to senior level, to management levels. The breadth of the role is also changing as we look at new perspectives, and specialty roles that BA's often find at least part of their careers involved in. So the career path, and skills required to navigate that path successfully are changing. 

This presentation will put a framework to the profession and show how the BA fits in to being a key player in delivering better business outcomes.
