Whether your organization is going through a large-scale transformation, responding to shifts in the marketplace, undergoing reorganizations requiring downsizings or staffing growth, or moving forward with strategies to improve company performance, effectively communicating these changes is an essential part of the implementation process.

Our presenter, Diane Cooney, will provide a high level overview of three organizational change management (OCM) models: Kotter, Conner Partners, and Prosci. Each model provides a framework for how to shift employees from a place of resistance to one of support. This isn’t an easy task, and according to a recent Harvard Business review article, “Studies consistently report that about three-quarters of change efforts flop – either they fail to deliver the anticipated benefits or they are abandoned entirely.” With the right level of sponsorship and employee engagement, you can achieve a successful outcome.

Additionally, she will review case studies and help participants learn how to apply OCM principles to solve a variety of business challenges, including:

  • IT implementation
  • Organizational redesign
  • Acquisition/Divestitures
  • Cyber defense
