David Sloan is a Senior Business Systems Analyst, Certified Kofax Capture 10 & Kofax KTM 6 Solutions Analyst. Prior to entering the business world, he was an educator in the School District of Philadelphia. During his career as a teacher, David worked every summer for the Phillies Baseball Academy where he completed extensive training in the areas of Leadership and Team Building. He served as Director of Operations during his final 3 summers for the Phillies Camp Organization. After teaching for 12 years, obtaining 5 different teaching certifications and earning a Master's Equivalency, David changed careers to become an Analyst. His experience as a BSA comes from companies such as AIG, CHUBB Insurance and Independence Blue Cross where he is currently flourishing in the PMO.
David is an active mentor in several organizations and groups. He volunteers as a tutor and guest speaker with educational video conferencing companies such as NEPRIS. With a mindset that everything is connected: he looks to improve processes & procedures, create synergies through effective communication and develop solutions that allow others to work smarter, not harder.
