*Please note the time change. Doors will open for in-person networking and food at 5:30 pm (EDT). The presentation will begin at 6:30 pm. Discussions from a TED talk - What is the Right Question for a BA to Ask
The presentation will look a TED talk from Malcolm Gladwell and see how this odd topic of Spaghetti Sauce applies to the foundation of our work as BA’s. We will use 4 key points in a discussion-based format to look at the right question, and how data is used by BA’s to understand the business problem for analysis. It will look at the issue of the notion of the one right solution, and the different idea of multiple solutions based on the multiple client/customer needs. It will show how this thinking dramatically impacted IIBA itself during Ken’s time as CEO. Hopefully, it will help attendees see their own projects, products and client problems differently.
